Hello there! Unfortunately, this model only fits 1999 and newer model Century trucks. As of right now, we do not have another option for full coverage like the Herd Guards. However, Rig Guard makes grill guards that customizable for your truck. I recommend calling our sales team at 888-888-7990 since there will be several variables to discuss!

Can you tell me why with a diagram on by will not fit but by year to that year also is there any way to modify it to fit I would prefer an entire huge set up because of the age of my truck instead of that little tiny deer Guard

Unfortunately, we do not have a way to acquire such a diagram. You may be able to call a Freightliner dealership and ask to see a drawing of the frame for 1998 and 1999 model Century's then compare them. We don't have the trucks on hand to test the differences.
