Hi there,
The extension is a panel that will extend the panel set and cover the bottom of the vertical sleeper extension panel that is attached to the back of the sleeper. Some trucks have them and some do not. If you are unsure, please email a picture of your truck to sales@raneys.com and we will be happy to take a look. Thanks!
