Hi there,
This unit will continue to record if it is on a power supply that does not turn off when the truck is turned off. I cant say how long it will last running off of your trucks batteries specifically but it is likely a very long time. several days. This unit continuously records and does have an impact sensor that will automatically set aside and save the footage around the impact time. Thanks!
