Will this product work on an iPad? Wifi On Steroids Phone/JET Pack Hot Spot Booster

My husband travels throughout the lower 48. He has difficulties with connection but does not have a lap top but an iPad and iPhone. Would this product work with these devices and does it work to a connection inside the rig?

This will boost Wi-Fi for any device and connects to the Wi-Fi, and is specially designed to connect to any free Wifi at Truck Stops, Campgrounds, Hotels/Motels, Or Anywhere That Provides Wifi. You would want to mount it to the wall or desk top in the truck.
